Today, we pay tribute to and remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the
terror attacks on September 11, 2001. We mourn them, we honor them, and we
pledge to never forget them.

POTUS TODAY
Today, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump led a moment
of silence at the White House in remembrance of those lost on September 11,
2001. Watch
the moment of silence.
The President and the First Lady then participated in a 9/11
observance at the Pentagon. Watch
the remembrance ceremony.
Later, the President will receive his daily intelligence briefing and
receive an update on Hurricane Irma.
Vice President Mike Pence is in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, to
commemorate the 16th anniversary of September 11 at the Flight 93 National
Memorial. The Vice President will deliver remarks, tour the Flight 93
National Memorial Visitors Center, and participate in a wreath laying
ceremony with the friends and family of the fallen. |
