The images of destruction are similar. Whether they are made after a hurricane or after a tsunami, they look similar. Both show not only the power of elemental forces of water and wind, but also and above all the degree of human negligence and human failure.
The man-made tsunami disaster of Christmas 2004 and catastrophes that followed have shown that America can not guarantee the safety of Americans and the West.
